Foley Baseball Stadium – UGA 1685 (1990, renovated 2015; Category 5) and Foley Field (1966, renovated 1990, Category 3). Foley Field was established in 1966 to accommodate the varsity baseball team, which had practiced and played in several locations since moving from Herty Field in 1911. The field was replaced in 1990. It is named for Frank Foley, who pitched for the Bulldogs in 1908, and captured UGA’s first Southern Conference championship. He later served on the University System Board of Regents. Foley Field retains its historic associations and is assessed as Category 3.
