Alpha Chi Omega – UGA 2218 (1955, Category 3). Alpha Chi Omega is a Georgian Revival style brick structure located at 1064 South Lumpkin Street. The two-story building, which features a hipped roof, symmetrical main block, and central extension with a cross-gable roof and semi-circular porch supported by Ionic order columns, serves as a residence for the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. The building, which is in very good condition, features double-hung wood windows, wood detailing shutters, and an asphalt shingle roof. It is edged by residential-style foundation plantings, turf, and trees that frame the building.
