Driftmier Engineering Center Phase I Renovations

This proposed Phase 1 includes the renovation of approximately 21,000 sf of the building’s 61,000 sf one story section. Phase 1 will target renovation and expansion of the College of Engineering’s required undergraduate instructional lab spaces.

The proposed renovation is anticipated to provide approximately 13,000 sf of new instructional space with an estimated 385 seats. The majority of the reconfigured and new instructional space will be assigned to approximately nine new wet and dry labs in support of the mechanical, civil, electrical, computer, bio, and agricultural engineering programs. The renovation will also provide two new traditional classrooms with a total of 1800 sf and 72 seats.
